Do not my dear readers be fooled by the title - remember looks can be deceiving! Dare to believe it! For example, if I were to dress up as a large canine I would not actually be a person with questionable intellectual capacity! I would just be me - albeit dressed as Fido. Or whatever embarrassing name you forced upon your dog.
HOWEVER this blog does not actually have anything to do with sentimental recollection of "the golden oldies" or how when I was a child dishwashers were not yet a part of general every day life. This blog despite ALL deceiving appearances has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with anything of that nature! THIS IS NOT ACTUALLY THAT BLOG!
Now onto the pressing concern at hand. I recently was made aware of a very very distressing fact. An EXTREMELY gut-wrenching piece of knowledge which has shook the very core of my existence.
IMAX is no longer showing Polar Express as a special Christmas feature.
I know.
It's almost as bad as the day I believed Steve of Blues Clues had passed away. (Luckily this fact was later proved to be erroneous, as explaining why I felt it necessary to adorn my school uniform with a black armband was becoming tedious.)
Where am I going to get my happy holiday fuzzies without the misguided adventures of the "Christmas doubters" and Tom Hanks in animated form? Why did they leave me all alone here in the dark, without so much as a candle to light my way? Maybe I should locate a light switch? Is there a light switch? Do I look better in the dark? Maybe the dark isn't so bad...hmmm...what I need is a mirror. Oh. Its dark.
I had an audition today. It was sadly non-nerve raising. I have lost the thrill of fear singing in front of strangers used to afford me. Now I just sing. Thank goodness I still love to sing, or I may have had to retire from the stage, and that would leave me with no other outlet for my theatricality but this blog, and then it would be even crazier and disjointed, and the comma would be more extensively maligned.
